This document provides a quick reference to common APA citation questions.

In August, 2014, faculty at GWU were asked to fill out information related to their research expertise, faculty status, methods expertise, and location to support candidates in selecting committee members. That information is attached here:



Requirements for proposal defense -
  • Must have successfully completed 2/3 of program coursework, including related evidences. This means four semesters (EDCI or EDLS 707 and related module work and evidences)
  • Must be registered for (at least) EDCI or EDLS 712. This may mean additional enrollment hours if you are hoping to defend early.
  • Once beginning dissertation hours, candidates must be continuously enrolled in dissertation hours.
